Stacker​/Packer

Overview

GTG-JAX is currently looking for Packer/Stackers. This is a physically demanding job that removes cases/packages of finished product from the conveyors. We are looking for people to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 36 / 48 hour per week schedule.

If you have a high school diploma or equivalent and have 1 year of working experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment), this might be the job for you.

• Removing cases/packages from the conveyors and stacking them on pallets.
• Ensure that product is stacked according to product specifications.
• Prepare palletized units for shipping.
• Maintain a work pace that matches the product flow.
• Maintain the machine and surrounding area.
• Communicate with other operators concerning production and quality issues.
• Un-jam and restart various machines.
• Keep the work area clean and free from clutter.

GTG-JAX is looking for a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
