Are you a current plant manager or assistant plant manager, who is looking for a new opportunity? At GTG-JAX we might have what you are looking for. We are a paper converting facility, who is looking for a Site Manager to lead our production team of almost 100 employees and help us as we expand and grow over the next few years.

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of safety processes, production processes, raw materials, quality control, cost control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing process.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully work to reach company goals in a challenging environment.
• Results-driven, analytical, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to logically identify alternative solutions or approaches to complex problems.
• Must have demonstrated P&L accountability at the plant management level and have a strong track record of successful execution.
• Demonstrated success as an innovative manufacturing leader.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
• Must be well versed in data analytics.

• Responsible for the business levels of safety culture, environmental compliance, quality control, production throughout, cost management, and communication with all stakeholders.
• Oversee all aspects of the operations of the production facility.
• Maintain a presence on the production floor, driving two-way communication with all employees.
• Responsible to know, understand, comply and be actively engaged with the safety procedures, safety policies, and internal regulations and controls.
• Establish, monitor, and maintain KPIs on all business levels.
• Ensure that the GTG operating philosophy is understood throughout the organization and adhered to.
• Instill a commitment to continuous improvement to optimize workflow efficiencies for all business levels.
• Assess, manage and develop the salaried staff within the facility.
• Formulate and implement manufacturing policies and programs that guide the facility in improving its competitive position and the profitability of the operation.
