Are you a corporate L&D leader who thrives on building impactful learning programs and shaping how organizations grow their talent? This newly created Learning & Development Supervisor role offers the opportunity to design and lead enterprise-wide learning strategies for a well-established global organization.
In this hands‑on leadership position, you’ll partner closely with senior leadership, supervise a small L&D team, and create scalable learning solutions that support leadership development, workforce capability, and business growth.
What You’ll Do Lead & Develop the L&D Function- Supervise, coach, and develop two direct reports
- Set priorities, delegate initiatives, and ensure high‑quality program delivery
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and professional growth
- Conduct organization‑wide training needs assessments
- Partner with HR and business leaders to align learning initiatives with strategic goals
- Identify skill gaps and future workforce development needs
- Build and scale company‑wide learning and leadership development programs
- Lead instructional design across e‑learning, multimedia, and instructor‑led formats
- Facilitate workshops, leadership sessions, and virtual trainings
- Oversee LMS administration, reporting, and optimization
- Monitor completion metrics and learning effectiveness
- Maintain and improve learning content and user experience
- Evaluate program effectiveness using performance metrics and ROI analysis
- Continuously improve offerings based on feedback and industry trends
- Partner with department leaders, HR Business Partners, and SMEs
- Support career pathing, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, HR, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
- 6+ years of corporate Learning & Development experience
- 4+ years of instructional design and/or e‑learning development
- 2+ years of people leadership or direct report supervision
- Strong facilitation skills (virtual and in‑person)
- Experience in regulated environments (manufacturing, healthcare, pharma, medical device, etc.)
- Experience supporting mid‑sized organizations (500–1,000 employees)
- Newly created position with the ability to shape L&D strategy from the ground up
