Maintain specified common areas of assigned building, to include but not limited to, general custodial responsibilities.

• High School or GED, preferred.

• Prior janitorial experience preferred.

• None

• Ability to work for periods of time without direct supervision.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to janitorial duties.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to perform duties that frequently require bending and lifting.
• Responsible for following and ensuring that all safety rules are followed and that appropriate safety equipment is used.

• Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming (90% of time).
• Waste removal and general cleaning.
• Pulling trash from containers in restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other areas as assigned.
• Assist in set-up and teardown of tables and chairs for pre- and post- facility events.
• Other duties as assigned (10% of time).
