Who We're Looking For:
At the Home Improvement Group, we owe our success to the dedication of our team. To help maintain and grow this standard, we're seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative to assist in growing both HIG brands. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven success in managing sales territories. This person has a positive outlook and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a self-motivated and technically adept Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, corrective, improvement, and project maintenance.
What you'll do:
* Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot malfunctioning machines, equipment, and systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, etc.) while in operation to identify root causes; perform inspections, adjustments, repairs, replacements, and modifications as required.
* Install electrical, functional, and structural components in machinery and equipment.
* Lubricate, clean, and maintain mechanical components to ensure optimal performance.
* Start-up machinery and equipment and assist operators with initial testing of functionality and performance.
* Measure, cut, thread, install, and replace hard and soft piping, tubing, and related components throughout the facility.
* Fabricate parts and equipment; perform welding as needed based on capability and job requirements.
* Assist with or independently perform installation, relocation, and commissioning of production and support equipment, including troubleshooting to ensure operational integrity and completing electrical tie-ins as required.
* Ensure work-in-progress and completed work meet quality standards; perform required quality checks and communicate issues to the appropriate chain of command.
* Adhere to all facility, warehouse, and position-specific safety requirements, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), forklift safety practices, and environmental and hazardous waste disposal procedures.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, housekeeping, and 5S activities within assigned areas and throughout the facility.
* Perform additional skilled and semi-skilled tasks as needed, including plumbing, electrical, welding, cutting, painting, small engine repair, carpentry, construction, equipment teardown, and general maintenance activities.
* Develop, maintain, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for equipment maintained by operators; monitor completion to ensure adherence to schedules.
* Utilize Maintain
X software to manage maintenance requests and document preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
* Maintain required training and certifications for forklifts, scissor lifts, other material-handling equipment,safety harness usage, LOTO and others.
* Perform cycle counts and other inventory control activities as required.
* Change, troubleshoot, clean, and maintain dies in presses to support continuous production.
* Pick, stage, wrap, and verify materials for shipment; inspect pallets prior to shipping for accuracy and quality.
* Accurately enter production, inventory, and maintenance data into computer systems.
* Perform routine quality checks to support product and process compliance.
* Operate production equipment as needed and as time allows.
* Load and unload coils and other materials using combi lifts and forklifts.
* Set up materials, perform changeovers, and prepare equipment for production runs.
* Perform welding tasks, including fabrication of carts and custom equipment.
* Conduct facility maintenance activities including plumbing, painting, tree trimming, fan maintenance, and electrical maintenance.
* Create, sustain, and lead equipment and facility preventive maintenance initiatives.
