Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead maintenance activities for plant equipment and machinery within a high‑volume manufacturing environment.
This role requires strong hands‑on troubleshooting ability (both electrical and mechanical), implementation of maintenance and reliability systems, and direct supervision of maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs (PM, TPM, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical system issues on production equipment.
- Train and guide maintenance technicians and engineers in maintenance techniques, safety practices, lockout/tagout, and equipment operation.
- Analyse equipment breakdowns and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
- Support vendor selection and manage the development of locally manufactured/alternative spares.
- Ensure spare parts availability and vendor management for maintenance supplies.
- Plan equipment upgrades or modifications to improve reliability and resolve bottlenecks.
- Implement and support maintenance documentation and workflow via systems such as SAP.
- Drive a strong safety‑first culture, ensuring OSHA standards are followed.
- Supervise maintenance department personnel: hiring, training, performance management, scheduling, and work delegation.
Work Environment:
- Fast‑paced industrial production setting.
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and occasional physical work.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

Ideal ProfileRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics (mandatory).
- 5–10 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Hands‑on proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Proven experience leading maintenance teams and supervising technical staff.
- Experience implementing PM / TPM / reliability‑driven maintenance systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery.
Preferred Experience (Nice‑to‑Have):
- Experience developing substitute or local vendor parts for imported equipment.
- Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS systems.
- Background in metal fabrication, heavy industrial equipment, or large‑scale production lines.
