Job description We are looking to hire an experienced paralegal to join us for litigation in Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on litigation experience, and be capable of managing a civil or business litigation case from intake through trial. This is an in-office, full-time role with significant opportunity for professional growth and advancement within the firm.
Strong knowledge of the Florida Civil Rules of Procedure, and E-filing experience in State and Federal court is expected. The position requires a high degree of organization, flexibility, and adaptability. We are looking for someone with strong work ethics but also a professional and pleasant personality.

In person Responsibilities:
• Conducting legal research and analysis using various databases and resources.
• Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests.
• Assisting attorneys with case preparation, including organizing and managing case files and documents.
• Coordinating and scheduling depositions, hearings, and other matters.
• Communicating with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Assisting with trial preparation, including preparing trial exhibits and witness binders.
• Assist attorneys in managing business and civil cases from intake through resolution.
• Draft and review legal correspondence, demand letters, and pre-suit documents.
• Scheduling client appointments and managing calendars.
• Organizing case files and maintaining client correspondence.
• Assisting with collecting intake documents.
• Track and monitor case deadlines to ensure timely filings and responses.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys and maintain efficient workflow. Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a Florida law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of the litigation process and procedures.
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
• Experience with E-filing and general navigation of the Florida court system
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
• Ability to write, speak, and interact clearly and professionally.
• Must be adaptable and flexible to adjust to changing demands and timelines.
• Extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
• Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
• Maintain frequently changing calendar and understand priorities to effectively manage schedule.
• Ability to work 9:00 am – 5:30 pm + as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, etc.
