Client is seeking a Network Engineer. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise, troubleshoot incidents and perform the day-to-day operational activities independently. The chosen candidate will assist in the network administration activities and impact analysis on existing Data center, Network, Telecom and security infrastructure. The role holder will be responsible for all the network and telecom related activities including network related change management & problem management, technology currency initiatives, addressing security vulnerabilities related to network & telecom.

All the activities will need to be performed with high quality, timeliness as well as compliance to laid down processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jacksonville FL or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Routing and Switching Protocols – EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, STP, HSRP, VSS, VRF.
• Experience in Network Security – IPSEC VPN, Remote Access Any Connect VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS.
• Experience in Cisco Firepower Management Center and Firepower Threat Defense.
• Experience in managing Citrix Load balancer and Gateways.
• Experience with network management and monitoring tools such as Solarwinds and Cisco DNA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience of experience in Routing, Switching and Firewall administration.
• Experience in Cisco Voice and UCCE administration and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Data Center Spine-Leave switches, Cisco Voice gateways and Call manager.
• CCNP – Routing and Switching or Data Center or Security.
• Willing to work in production support and on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours including weekends.
• Strong communication and Analytical skills.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

This job requires physical handling of network equipment across the premises including the datacenter. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
