Position: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
* You will analyze benefits and costs to develop recommendations on whether or not to contract work; provide technical requirements and descriptions of the work to be contracted.
* You will oversee development of technical data, estimates, statistics, and other information useful to higher-level managers in determining which goals and objectives to emphasize.
* You will decide the methodologies to use in achieving work goals and objectives, and in determining other management strategies.
* You will serve as the primary IT coordinator for incident response plan development, implementation, and execution; and tracking and reporting of necessary actions related to cybersecurity or other network events. Requirements Conditions of employment

* This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition

and category assigned to the position is required within established category time frames.
* This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* You will be required to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
* The incumbent in the position is subject to random drug tests. Qualifications I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include:
Reviewing IT and control systems programs to assess overall compliance with cybersecurity plans and policies, and alignment with business and mission requirements.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services;
