AI Lead

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver agentic AI solutions that execute multi-step workflows within clearly defined guardrails, including document extraction and processing, workflow automation, and task orchestration
• Translate business problems into production‑ready AI solutions by defining the solution approach, integration model, and rollout strategy, while coordinating delivery across engineering, product, and business teams
• Contribute hands‑on where needed—such as prototyping, prompt and workflow orchestration, and integration design—while establishing scalable, repeatable delivery playbooks
• Identify and prioritize high‑value opportunities where AI can materially improve productivity by reducing cycle time, lowering error rates, and increasing throughput across teams
• Develop and standardize adoption patterns for copilots and agents embedded directly into daily workflows (communications, knowledge work, meetings, and task management), ensuring experiences are intuitive, secure, and measurable (Aligned with Microsoft's strategy of embedding agents within Microsoft 365 and Copilot experiences)
• Partner with business leaders to define clear productivity success metrics—such as time saved, task completion, and quality improvements—and establish continuous feedback loops to refine outcomes
• Define, implement, and enforce AI governance aligned to internal policy, including standards for agentic AI, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, and handling of sensitive or regulated information
• Establish AI risk controls and vendor/solution due‑diligence processes using structured evaluation criteria, such as authorization boundaries, logging and prompt access, explainability, retention, and incident response

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
• 7+ years of AI/ML experience, including enterprise deployments
• 5+ years in a leadership role (people leadership and/or program leadership)
• Hands‑on experience deploying AI integrations and automation in enterprise environments;
  Strong understanding of LLMs, NLP, and agentic AI frameworks

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
