Must be GCH or USC. No c2c permitted.
The Cybersecurity Analyst develops and implements comprehensive information security programs, including defining security policies, processes, and standards. This role performs audit assessments and establishes processes to ensure security configurations are maintained across systems and environments.
Essential Functions- Serves as a liaison with IT and business partners to identify, document, and advise on security requirements, impacts, and risks
- Develops and maintains documentation for security systems, procedures, and security diagrams
- Analyzes, proposes, and implements solutions related to residual risk, vulnerabilities, and other security exposures
- Participates in IT projects to ensure security is addressed throughout the project lifecycle
- Supports initiatives to identify, select, and implement technical security controls
- Develops information security processes, policies, and procedures
- Advises on service level agreements and ensures security controls are properly managed and maintained
- Researches, evaluates, and recommends security-related hardware and software, including business case development
- Leads and supports audit-related initiatives, including data collection, tracking, assessment, and remediation activities
- Assists in the development of security architecture
- Performs other duties as assigned
5 years of related information security or cybersecurity experience
Required EducationBachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience in IT, infrastructure, or cybersecurity
Required Licenses and CertificationsCISSP certification required at time of submittal
Certification number must be included on resume for verification
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of information security principles including risk management, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and identity and access management
- Knowledge of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated protocols
- Strong understanding of systems, software, protocols, and standards including TCP/IP
- Experience developing, documenting, and maintaining security procedures
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems and security applications
- Proven leadership skills including knowledge sharing, facilitation, and conflict resolution
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure and manage multiple high-priority situations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics to varied audiences
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and ability to work independently
- Strong customer focus and relationship-building skills
- Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment
- High critical-thinking skills aligned to business objectives
- Additional security certifications
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Conduct cybersecurity controls assurance testing in cloud environments using Wiz
- Identify and remediate cloud security vulnerabilities and compliance gaps
- Manage user access within Wiz, including role-based access controls
- Generate and distribute Wiz reports with actionable security insights
- Collaborate with IT, legal, privacy, compliance, and cybersecurity teams to establish approved and unapproved cloud services
- Create customized rules and automated actions aligned to organizational requirements
CISSP certification is mandatory at the time of submittal and must include the certification number
