RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build Python tools/services to automate operations, integrate third-party APIs, and orchestrate change workflows
- Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules/environments for consistent, idempotent provisioning and lifecycle management
- Develop Ansible roles/playbooks for configuration, patching, compliance baselines, deployments, and drift remediation
- Embed automation into CI/CD with Git Hub workflows (branching/PRs/reviews/checks), including validation, linting, and plan/apply gates
- Implement automation observability (structured logging, metrics, alerts) and maintain SOPs/runbooks with rollback/recovery steps
- Apply security‑by‑default practices: secrets management, least‑privilege automation identities, and PCI‑aligned audit trails
- Partner cross‑functionally to deliver safe, versioned, tested automation and contribute to internal documentation/knowledge bases
- 3‑5 years of experience in an enterprise environment
- At least 2 years of hands‑on automation experience delivering production solutions
- Strong proficiency in Python, Terraform, and Ansible
- Practical Git Hub experience, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and reusable workflows
- Experience integrating automation with change/ITSM processes (Service Now)
- Comfortable with Linux fundamentals, YAML/JSON, REST APIs, templating, and idempotent design patterns
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a structured, well‑documented troubleshooting approach
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
