Job Description Assistant Vice President – TS9883592
DB USA Core Corporation seeks an Assistant Vice President in Jacksonville, FL to provide dedicated support to all 'Change the Bank' and 'Run the Bank' activities for Global Database through systems standardization and automation and responding to incidents. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any), or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing upgrades, implementing patches, and performing configuration management, troubleshooting, analysis, and capacity planning with Exadata Oracle database administration, Oracle database, and Oracle technologies RAC, Data guard, and Goldengate;
executing physical/logical backup, flashback technology recovery, and database migrations using RMAN, Oracle Data Pump, Oracle Golden Gate, and Oracle Flashback technologies; investigating and resolving infrastructure issues using Oracle Enterprise Manager, OEM Cloud Control, Exadata Management Server (Exadata MS), and Oracle Automatic Storage Management (Oracle ASM); automating services using Shell, Python, Ansible and Terraform; executing systems standardization and automation projects using Enterprise Manager Grid Control, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Jira, Git Hub, Bit Bucket, Service Now, and Jenkins;
troubleshooting database performance, connectivity, backup/recovery, and hardware issues using Oracle Diagnostic Pack, AWR/ASH reports, SQL Trace, and Exadata Health Check technical principles; deploying server, network, firewall, and enterprise stage architectures; utilizing compute nodes, storage cells, and lnfini
Band switches for maintenance, support, and troubleshooting with Exadata Quarterly Patching, software and firmware upgrades; developing and enforcing database security protocols using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), Oracle Audit Vault, Oracle Database Vault, and Oracle Advanced Security; and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards using SOX, GDPR, and PCI DSS frameworks.
