* Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented EDI Coordinator to join our team and help support our electronic data interchange operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating EDI transactions, maintaining trading partner relationships, and ensuring seamless data flow between our organization and external partners. This role requires excellent communication abilities, technical skills, and a thorough understanding of EDI standards and protocols.

The EDI Coordinator will work closely with internal departments and external trading partners to resolve issues, implement new connections, and optimize existing EDI processes. This hybrid or remote role requires a proactive individual with a strong problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Essential Duties/Accountabilities

* Monitor and manage daily EDI transaction processing, including inbound and outbound documents

* Coordinate with trading partners to establish new EDI connections and maintain existing relationships

* Troubleshoot EDI transmission errors and work with partners to resolve connectivity issues

* Assist with mapping EDI documents according to trading partner specifications and business requirements

* Test EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with partner requirements

* Maintain EDI documentation, including trading partner profiles, mapping specifications, and process procedures

* Generate and distribute EDI reports to internal stakeholders and management

* Collaborate with IT, customer service, and operations teams to resolve data discrepancies

* Assist in the implementation of new EDI standards and protocols

* Provide training and support to internal users on EDI processes and procedures

* Monitor system performance and work with technical teams to optimize EDI infrastructure

* Ensure compliance with industry standards (X12, EDIFACT) and trading partner requirements

* Participate in trading partner certification processes and ongoing relationship management

Education and Experience

* An Associate's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

* A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards, translation software, and communication protocols.

Skills

* Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts, standards, and protocols (X12, EDIFACT, XML).

* Familiarity with business processes, including purchasing, invoicing, and logistics.

* Knowledge of communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN).

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

* Experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT,XML) and translation software.

* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

* Previous experience in customer service or trading partner relationship management.

* Experience with Value Added Networks (VANs) and/or SPS Commerce and Epicor.

* Familiarity with integrating EDI with ERP systems.

* Basic project management skills and ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Customer service orientation and professional demeanor.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

* Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
