Technical Support, IT Consultant
This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. Gathers requirements, makes technical recommendations, configures, and implements computer systems, subsystems or modifications to existing systems to achieve the objectives of projects assigned in the most efficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree that emphasizes Math, Business or computer science with 1 year of system support and analysis, Associates Degree/Certification.
- 2 years of help desk experience.
- Efficient in completing assigned tasks individually or as part of a team.
- Strong technical knowledgeandbe able to use that knowledge toanalyze and resolve technical issues efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Norton Ghost, Cisco VPN, and Active Directory a plus. (Preferred)
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Location: Onsite at Brooks University Hospital campus at 3599 University Blvd South, Jacksonville, FL 32216
Compensation: Experience, education and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended
