Certified Epic BI Developer, EPIC Business Intel & Analytics, Baptist Medical Center
As a Certified Epic BI Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain data analytics and reporting solutions using Epic’s Cogito Suite, Clarity, and Caboodle. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver accurate, actionable insights that support clinical, operational, and financial decision‑making. The role emphasizes building high‑quality, performance‑optimized data models, dashboards, and reports with a strong focus on data integrity and usability.
Responsibilities- Build and test the full suite of Epic Cogito reporting tools, including Slicer Dicer, Radar, Reporting Workbench, and extracts (SQL, Extract Framework, Clarity, Caboodle).
- Learn Epic’s capabilities and apply experiential knowledge throughout the build, testing, implementation, and long‑term support of the Epic analytics tools.
- Report to a centralized analytics team while being matrixed with one or more application‑specific teams to ensure integration of workflows and analytics.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Strong SQL skills; experience creating views and stored procedures.
- Experience interpreting business requests into data solutions.
- Experience working within Agile methodology and sprints.
- Epic HB and/or PB certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with revenue cycle data models is strongly preferred.
- Healthcare analytics experience is highly desirable.
- Caboodle Data Model Certified (required)

- Access Data Model Certified (preferred)
- Revenue Data Model Certified (preferred)
- Clinical Data Model Certified (preferred)
High School Diploma/GED (required). Preferred:
Associate’s Degree.
