Sr Data Analyst

Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help transform complex data into actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This role partners closely with business leaders, product teams, and engineering to analyze trends, build dashboards, and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations. The ideal candidate is both technically strong and business-minded, with the ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

+ Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights

+ Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)

+ Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting requirements

+ Perform advanced SQL queries and data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability

+ Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and clear narratives

+ Support data-driven decision-making across multiple departments

+ Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in analytics and reporting

+ Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise manner

Requirements

Required Qualifications

+ 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles

+ Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases

+ Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI strongly preferred)

+ Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, formulas)

+ Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

+ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

+

Experience with Python or R for data analysis

+ Exposure to data warehousing and ETL processes

+ Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

+ Experience in [specific industry, if applicable]
