Required Skills- Proficiency in Bash scripting and Python.
- Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Unix background with supporting containerized applications (Podman, Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes).
- Understanding of storage and data replication platforms: CEPH, Ozone, HDFS.
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux principles and security.
- Drive data visualization and analytics initiatives using Tableau, Grafana and Apache Superset.
- Dev Ops practices.
- In‑depth knowledge of relational databases Postgres.
- Experience with Hadoop.
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Working experience on UNIX Application Environments:
Redis, Containers, Postgres, and Python web app. - Track record of maintaining large‑scale Python‑based systems.
- Knowledge of Teradata.
- Experience in developing or customizing Tableau reports.
- Observe and support application components and related infrastructure, acting as the first point of contact to troubleshot and respond to alerts for potential production issues.
- Interpret and monitor dashboards, tools, and reports to proactively identify and address potential issues before production impact.
- Implement, monitor, and improve Dev Ops processes, including CI/CD pipelines, to streamline software delivery.
- Administer Linux servers for hosting applications, ensuring system security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with technical needs.
- Knowledge of automation/Dev Ops tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket.
- Develop dashboards with Grafana to monitor real‑time logs, server health, etc.
