The Security Analyst will use security monitoring tools to review and investigate data security incidents, recommending appropriate corrective actions.

Responsibilities include:

Primary:
On-call rotation with other Cyber Threat Center Analysts to cover night and weekend escalations, 10 AM - 7 PM ET (9 AM - 6 PM CT).

Ideal candidates are junior-level professionals seeking a career in IT Security, with:

• A foundational knowledge of IT and networking, with 1-2 years of professional experience or a related bachelor’s degree. Recent graduates are also welcome.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a quick learner of new technologies.
• Experience with security aspects across multiple platforms, operating systems, and network protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years of experience in information security.
• Experience in network operations, engineering, or system administration on Unix, Linux, or Windows.
• Knowledge of network and host security technologies such as Firewalls, IDS, and scanners.
• Familiarity with tools like Arc Sight and Splunk (training provided if needed).
