A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a System Engineer in Jacksonville, FL.

Position type: Full‑time, Contract

Duration: 12 months

Location: Jacksonville, FL

• Administer Linux servers for hosting applications, ensuring system security, performance, and reliability.
• Use automation/Dev Ops tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Bitbucket.
• Develop dashboards with Grafana for real‑time log monitoring and server health checks.
• Conduct spikes/PoCs as needed to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues with failed deployments.

• Experience in Bash scripting and Python.
• Experience with automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Unix background and experience supporting containerized applications (Podman, Docker, Openshift, or Kubernetes).
• Understanding of storage and data replication platforms: CEPH, Ozone, HDFS.
• Strong understanding of Unix/Linux principles and security.
• Drive data visualization and analytics initiatives using Tableau, Grafana, and Apache Superset.
• Dev Ops practices.
• In‑depth knowledge of relational databases Postgres.
• Experience with Hadoop.

Pay Range: $55/h – $60/h
