We are seeking an IMS Mainframe System Programmer to support a client in Jacksonville, Florida.

• Experience working within an IMS Database environment. Familiarity with mainframe functional areas such as z/OS Operating System, Storage, Databases, CICS, and Disaster Recovery concepts.
• Experience in IMS V15.5 or later upgrade with SMP/E.
• Experience with ISV products including, but not limited to CA database tools, IBM database tools, Sysview, Omegamon, and Mainview.
• Experience in IMS Database Objects, Logical Unit definitions, and IMS Commands.
• Expertise in IMS configuration like SYSGEN, PSBGEN, Subsystem configuration.
• Will serve as primary technical contact for the mainframe Database for one or more clients during transition.
• 12+ years of professional work experience as an IMS Mainframe System Programmer.

• Expertise in performing SMP/E and Non-SMP/E Installation of ISV products.
• Expertise in IMS V15.5 or later upgrade.
• Mastery of IMS Database objects, PSB, ACB and SYSGEN process.
