Senior Network Security Engineer

100% Remote

Sr. IT Systems Engineers are responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of technology solutions. Sr. IT Systems Engineers provide technical support, troubleshoot problem and perform scripting/programming to support automation efforts.

• Five or more years demonstrated proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting infrastructure software products.
• Must have 7 or more years of experience administering Citrix Net Scaler Client functions this includes, but not limited, to layer 4/layer 7 routing PCAP analysis and hardware refresh and migrations.
• Must have 3 or more years of experience managing SSL certificates.
• Must have 3 or more years of experience administering Bluecoat Proxy Server or similar, this includes firmware upgrades and patching.
• Strong experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong scripting/programming experience with one or more languages (ex. Power Shell, java, python) regarding audits and automated task scheduling.
• Ability to support systems using 24x7 on call rotation.
• Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.
• Experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations.
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Proven leadership abilities including effective knowledge sharing, conflict resolution, facilitation of open discussions, fairness and displaying appropriate levels of assertiveness.
• Ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately for all levels and audiences.

• Development experience is a plus.

• Related Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience.
