Programmer Analyst- PeopleSoft

Overview

Reports to the Systems Application Manager. The Programmer Analyst analyzes the needs of the user or business group and provides technical support for the Information Systems such as coding, designing, implementing, and debugging programs. Conducts technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current systems. Serves as the primary resource to implement project plans, including testing and post-live support.

Develops recommendations based on functional specifications and user discussions, utilizing delivered functionality to minimize customizations.

• Analyze user and business group needs and provide technical support for Information Systems.
• Code, design, implement, and debug programs.
• Conduct technical research on system upgrades for feasibility and compatibility.
• Implement project plans including goals, deadlines, testing, and post-live support.
• Construct test scripts and document testing results.
• Develop recommendations based on functional specifications and user discussions.
• Minimize customizations by utilizing delivered functionality.

• Associate s Degree in Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or related field.
• Two years of specialized training in an applicable field accepted in lieu of education.
• Five+ years of experience in the Information Technology field.
• Ability to work autonomously in a high-production, potentially stressful environment.
• Clear and concise communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Allied Health, Computer Science, or related field.

• Required license if applicable to system assignment
