Responsibilities
  • As an Ameri Pro EMS Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will drive the success of our organization by identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to join the Ameri Pro Health team. In collaboration with Operations and Human Resources, source, interview, and hire professionals (Paramedics, EMTs, Dispatchers, et al) who meet qualifications and embody our Core Values.
  • Source, interview, and collaborate with the Ops Director to hire highly skilled professionals who fit roles and culture.
  • Deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Proactively build and maintain pipelines of EMS talent across assigned markets.
  • Build and sustain partnerships with EMS schools, training programs, and community partners to strengthen long-term pipelines.
  • Represent Ameri Pro Health at state and regional EMS events to promote brand visibility and recruitment efforts.
  • Serve as a liaison between Talent Acquisition and Operations to support retention and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Champion and drive participation in the internal referral program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • Healthcare Recruitment Experience (Required) - Minimum of two (2) years of proven experience in healthcare recruitment.
  • EMS recruitment strongly preferred; other relevant healthcare settings include hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities (SNF), and long-term care (LTC).
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare-specific roles such as paramedics, EMTs, nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals.
Recruitment Skills
  • Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Skilled in negotiation of offers and compensation packages.
  • Proficiency in sourcing candidates through multiple channels: niche job boards, social media, referrals, healthcare networking events, and college recruitment.
Interpersonal & Soft Skills
  • Ability to connect with candidates’ motivations, especially for critical and high-stress roles.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple candidates, applications, and schedules efficiently.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, adapt quickly, and pivot as priorities change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to build trust, foster positive relationships, and work cohesively within a team.
