About the role

The Legal Search Executive Recruiter is responsible for executing the full life-cycle of direct hire recruiting for attorney roles within law firms and corporate legal departments. Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. Analyzes hiring needs, determines best recruiting methods, creates and deploys client and role-specific recruiting strategies. Develops client accounts and generates new business through candidate and client leads, referrals and various forms of marketing.

Builds and maintains a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses client needs. Serves as subject matter expert on market trends, target industries, and roles.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Source and interview candidates for attorney roles within law firms and corporate legal departments.
  • Conduct cold-calling to identify potential leads and effectively market candidates to clients, showcasing their skills and suitability for specific roles.
  • Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing and relationship-building.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding, on behalf of your candidates and clients.
  • Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to identify and attract candidates.
  • Cultivate client accounts and drive new business by leveraging candidate and client leads, referrals and a variety of marketing strategies.
  • Keep up to date with current industry trends and recruitment best practices, while building and maintaining a network of professional contacts through active participation in trade associations and networking organizations.
About you

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Juris Doctor degree required.
  • Proven experience practicing law and the desire to move into a sales/recruiting role.
  • Prior sales experience (retail, client services, business development, real estate) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of attorney roles and the skills required for success in these positions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Benefits & Compensation

Anticipated salary: $50,000-$70,000 plus incentive compensation based on achievements. Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life, AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, 401k plan and non-qualified deferred compensation. Paid leave includes PTO up to 152 hours/year, 10 paid holidays, 1 Community Service Day and up to 6 weeks of paid parental leave.
