277‑Room Full‑Service All‑Suite Hotel
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for directing and managing all housekeeping operations to ensure clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest accommodations and public spaces in accordance with Embassy Suites and Hilton brand standards. This role leads a large team, manages departmental budgets, ensures compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and partners closely with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry to deliver exceptional guest experiences while controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management- Lead, train, schedule, and evaluate all Housekeeping staff, including Supervisors, Room Attendants, Housepersons, Public Area Attendants, and Laundry team
- Foster a culture of accountability, guest service excellence, and teamwork
- Conduct daily department briefings and ongoing skills training
- Recruit, onboard, and retain staff in compliance with company and Florida labor laws
- Manage performance coaching, disciplinary actions, and recognition programs
- Oversee daily cleaning of 277 guest suites
, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces, and laundry operations - Ensure all guest rooms and public areas consistently meet or exceed Hilton/Embassy Suites brand standards
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities
- Ensure timely room availability to support Front Desk and Guest Services operations
- Manage deep‑cleaning schedules and reporting
- Enforce lost‑and‑found procedures and security standards
- Manage the Housekeeping department budget
- Control labor costs through efficient scheduling and productivity standards
- Monitor and manage linen, terry, chemical, and amenity inventories
- Analyze productivity reports and implement process improvements
- Monitor and maintain above average guest satisfaction scores
- Partner with Front Office to resolve room status discrepancies and guest issues
- Support brand audits, QA inspections, and internal operational reviews
- Partner closely with Engineering to identify and track maintenance issues
- Coordinate with Front Office on occupancy, VIP arrivals, and special requests
- Work with Sales and Events on group arrivals, banquets, and large‑scale room blocks
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Minimum 3–5 years of Housekeeping leadership experience in a full‑service hotel (200+ rooms preferred)
- Proven ability to manage large teams in a high‑volume environment
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, labor management, and inventory control
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Prior experience in a Hilton or Embassy Suites brand strongly preferred
- Experience with Hilton systems (PEP, Quore, Guest Experience Platform)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak occupancy periods
- On‑call availability as required
