General Manager – Jacksonville Residence Inn (Salary $95K-$100K) at Remington Hospitality.

The General Manager of the Residence Inn by Marriott Jacksonville Butler Boulevard, a select‑‑stay hotel, will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, team leadership, and financial performance.

We seek a hands‑on, results‑driven General Manager with at least three (3) years of select‑service branded hotel management experience, strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and a passion for delivering service excellence in alignment with Marriott standards.

• Practice a culture of guest service in all you do; promote courtesy, good will and a positive attitude in each encounter.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, acknowledge all guests and maintain positive relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring satisfaction in each interaction.
• Coordinate special programs, functions and incentives to improve guest service.
• Work cooperatively and friend lily with fellow associates.
• Effectively lead the Executive Committee to reach property goals.
• Develop and assure achievement of hotel revenues and profits using forecasting, P&L management, RevPAR.
• Ensure property compliance in all departments, growing the business year over year.
• Ensure product quality that supports future bookings, banquet sales and food & beverage to achieve increasing pricing goals.
• Coach and develop leaders to exceed performance expectations.

• Minimum 3 years of hotel leadership experience, including at least 1 year as a General Manager of a select‑service hotel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related business field preferred.
• Experience in Rooms and/or Food & Beverage functions.
• Strong business communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to lead team at leadership and hourly level.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.
• High work ethic and self‑initiative.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
• Some travel may be required.

• At least three (3) years of “Select Service” branded hotel management experience, ideally Marriott.
• At least 1 year as a General Manager of a select‑service hotel.
• Deep understanding of select‑service hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance and food & beverage.
• Willingness to be actively involved in daily operations and lead by example.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs and drive profitability through effective P&L oversight.
• Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, training and motivating high‑performing teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests, staff, vendors and ownership.
• Familiarity with Marriott brand standards and ability to ensure consistent execution across all departments.
