Overview

Evening Decentral ICU Pharmacist position at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville in the Pharmacy department. This is a full-time evening shift opportunity (12:00 PM – 8:30 PM) with every fourth weekend required. The role supports Med Surg ICU, Med Surg PCU, Neuro Intermediate Care, and Neuro ICU, and involves direct work with physicians and nurse practitioners. Strong communication, proactive time management, and a passion for patient care are essential.

Clinical experience is required; a residency is preferred.

• Entering orders with high accuracy.
• Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned.
• Answering questions from health care professionals.
• Serving as a consultant for members of the medical staff.
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree required;
  Doctorate preferred.
• Experience:
  
  1-2 years hospital pharmacy experience; 1-2 years experience with automated dispensing devices; residency training; experience with pharmacy information systems.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Active Pharmacist license; ACLS, PALS, BLS required.
