Overview
$1,000 Sign on Bonus
Baptist Health is seeking to add an energetic and dynamic Medical Assistant (MA) for our Baptist MD Anderson Surgical Oncology - Colorectal / GI Surgery Clinic, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with a 40 hour a week commitment. Nationally recognized certification in Medical Assisting (CMA or RMA) preferred but not required.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of a Medical Assistant include:
- Providing nursing assistance to the physician and APP
- Obtaining vital signs, weights, and heights
- Greeting and chaperoning patients as needed during medical visits
- Documenting in the medical record as indicated per role
- Additional responsibilities on an as needed basis
- Education Required:
High School Diploma/GED - Education Preferred:
Associate s Degree - Experience:
None
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
