Physical Therapist-PRN; Pelvic Health

We are seeking a highly-trained Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing pelvic health disorders and a general outpatient caseload. Preferred experience includes pelvic health conditions such as colorectal dysfunction/dyssynergic defecation, obstetric/postpartum difficulties, overactive bladder, dyspareunia, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic pain, post-radiation recovery, and urinary or fecal incontinence in both males and females.

Candidates may be APTA Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialists or have completed APTA Pelvic Health courses (Level 1-3), as well as pregnancy and postpartum courses.

• Knowledge of Physical Therapy theory, procedures, practices, and equipment
• Good communication skills and a proactive, positive approach to problem solving
• Thorough knowledge of hazards, precautions, and remedial measures in patient care
• Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for various diagnoses
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
• Required Licensure/
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current Florida Physical Therapy license, BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Preferred Experience: Hospital-based rehabilitation services
• Preferred Education: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Required Experience: Less than one year of clinical experience in the relevant area (e.g., acute, outpatient)
