About the Position:
This position is designed to provide advanced interdisciplinary clinical and leadership training in the assessment and diagnosis of ASD and ADHD and evidence-based interventions. Fellows will conduct assessments independently. Psychological evaluation techniques may include cognitive measures, structured interviews and observations, social/emotional evaluations, as well as opportunities to complete comprehensive evaluations for developmental concerns including autism spectrum disorders and/or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorders.

Minor rotation may include additional opportunity for a primarily clinical fellowship with both intervention and assessment experience within an integrated primary care setting. Fellows will work in a pediatric primary care clinic with opportunities to interact and consult with nurses, and physicians. Intervention opportunities may include individual and family, using evidence-based treatment modalities to address a variety of internalizing and externalizing concerns.

Additionally, opportunities for consultation with school and community personnel will be available.

Qualifications:

Applicants must demonstrate completion of all professional doctoral degree requirements from an APA-accredited program (Ph.D. or Psy.

D.) and an APA-APPIC approved pre-doctoral internship. All applicants should be eligible to obtain a provisionally licensed psychologist license in the state of Florida. Post docs must have a driver’s license and the ability to travel to clinical sites. Additionally, applicants must be eligible for a Mental Health Counselor license in Florida.
