Job Summary:

We are looking to add a Medical Office Coordinator at Baptist Primary Care, located at Baptist Roosevelt in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full‑time, day‑shift opportunity Monday through Friday 8 am‑5 pm. As the Medical Office Coordinator you will provide assistance to physicians and coordinate business or clinical operations in conjunction with the physician and manager. You will support the manager to ensure a smooth operation of the office and will be responsible for processing medication refills and triaging patient calls.

• Completing prior authorizations
• Chart preparation
• Sending lab results
• Assisting management of office
• Assisting with back office throughput
• Additional responsibilities may be required based upon office needs

High School Diploma/GED

Associate's Degree

• Medical Office Coordinator experience preferred

• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – Preferred
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) – Preferred
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) – Preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Preferred
