Epic Beacon/Research/Dialysis Team Lead, Clinical Service Line Solutions, Baptist Medical Center, On-site Hybrid – leads technical and operational resource supporting design, optimization, and maintenance of Epic modules related to clinical research and oncology workflows. Collaborates closely with clinicians, researchers, and operational leaders to translate requirements into efficient, compliant, and patient-centered system solutions.

The role provides advanced configuration, builds workflows, supports integrations, ensures data accuracy, and enhances system performance. This senior-level resource drives workflow optimization, supports research initiatives, and ensures providers and staff have the tools needed for safe, effective, and data‑driven patient care.

Key responsibilities:

• The role is a technical expert overseeing application projects, driving innovation and operational efficiency, coordinating project teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Leads day-to-day operations, mentors team members, provides support, assigns tasks, performs as a Project Lead while leading design and support.
• Leads complex application initiatives, including project management, mentoring junior analysts, and ensuring operational best practices.
• Provides lead technical expertise in development, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide, cross‑functional applications.
• Analyzes and translates workflow and documentation requirements into effective system solutions through collaboration with care teams.
• Leads plans, designs, develops, validates, tests, implements, evaluates, maintains, and provides ongoing troubleshooting and support of information system components.
• Leads quality assurance and integrated testing of current and newly released vendor functionality.
• Leads projects across applications and develops application‑specific enhancements and reports aligned with organizational priorities.
• Provides 24/7 support for applications within accountability.

Education required:

Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. Education preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree.

Experience required: 2 years of Clinical Applications and Systems – design, build, integration, activation; minimum 2 years related experience. Strong experience with Epic Beacon/Research/Dialysis modules preferred. Leadership experience and Project Management experience preferred.

Certification required: EPIC Certification in designated application area(s) – highly preferred.
