Overview
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the sitter will provide a safe environment for individuals who require constant observation. Responsibilities include basic care for activities of daily living and diversionary activities.
Working Hours7:00 pm – 7:00 am
Responsibilities- Sit with patients to ensure safety and constant observation
- Provide basic care for activities of daily living
- Offer diversionary activities to patients
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Ability to read/write in English
- Knowledge of standard precautions
- Ability to recognize emergency situations
- Maintain confidentiality and awareness of ethical and legal responsibilities
