We’re hiring an Office Specialist I for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a FLOAT - Full Time Days position. $1000 Sign-On Bonus
.

This role requires travel between outpatient behavioral health offices across NE Florida depending on department or clinic needs.

Shift details:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

• The Office Specialist will support the Behavioral Health Department to accurately register all patients and update demographic and insurance information for maintenance of accurate information. This position requires an individual who can multitask and obtains excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills and a previous experience in clerical work.
• Providing business services for patients and the healthcare system.
• Ensuring accurate patient registration.
• Posting patient charges and payments.
• Operating a multi-line phone system while maintaining telephone protocols.
• Assisting patients as needed.
