Overview
Baptist Health is seeking to add a Virtual Safety Monitor Technician to our Virtual Monitoring Unit located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, night-shift opportunity. A Virtual Safety Monitor Technician plays a vital role in keeping patients safe through continuous virtual observation. Technicians review assigned patients and ensure all video and communication systems are functioning properly. Throughout the shift, you will observe patients remotely via live video feeds, watching for signs of distress, confusion, or unsafe movement.
Using calm, compassionate communication, the technician provides verbal redirection when needed. If a patient requires direct assistance, the technician promptly alerts onsite nursing staff.
As a Virtual Safety Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients.
- Verbally redirect patients from engaging in any at-risk behaviors.
- If unable to engage the patient, summon onsite nursing staff or a caregiver for assistance.

An active Florida CNA license is required for this position.
EducationRequired: High School Diploma/GED
Preferred: Associate s Degree
Experience- 1-2 years Clinical Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years Hospital Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years Direct Patient Care Experience Preferred
- Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant Required
