Medical Assistant

at ent specialists of north florida and meier plastic surgery, as a medical assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through various tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to promptly complete all activities accurately, and with high quality.

• interview patients and document medical history in emr
• prepare and clean examination rooms and medical instruments
• assist during medical examinations
• respond to patient inquiries via telephone and the patient portal
• complete and follow up on provider‑assigned tasks
• follow‑up on prescription refill requests
• restocking examination rooms
• follow‑up on other various tasks as assigned by the clinical manager

• proven working experience as a medical assistant
• knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
• excellent time management skills and ability to multi‑task and prioritize work
• social perceptiveness and service‑oriented
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
• strong organizational and planning skills
• experience in plastics and otolaryngology (ears, nose & throat) preferred
• experience with pediatrics, adolescents and adults preferred

• medical administrative support
