Job Posting Summary
* Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available
* We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for the Baptist Heart Specialists office located at Baptist South. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity Monday through Friday. Some travel to other locations is required when needed.
The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs. Experience preferred but new Medical Assistants are welcomed to apply.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Provides medical assistance to physician
* Obtains vital signs
* Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
* Maintains medical documentation
* Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
* Processes prescription requests and referrals
