Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a Full‑Time opportunity to work the day shift with evening and weekend rotation to ensure 24‑7 Pharmacy operation. This Pharmacist will be checking patient orders, authorizations, dispensing medications, supervising technicians, and consulting with other medical staff on medication and regimens.

The Pharmacist will work independently within a small team with technician support. Candidates must have experience in an inpatient clinical environment and IV Room/Infusion experience; a completed PGY1 is preferred but not required.

• Entering orders with great accuracy.
• Checking technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
• Supervising technicians and serving on committees as assigned.
• Answering questions for all healthcare professionals.
• Consulting for members of the medical staff.
• Monitoring patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics services.

All candidates must obtain or have the ability to obtain a Pharmacists license in the State of Florida.

• Bachelor's Degree
• Doctorate

• 1-2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience
• 1-2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing Devices
• Residency Training
• Experience with Pharmacy Information Systems

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Registered Pharmacist Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Pharmacist Required
