Medical Assistant

We are hiring for Medical Assistants for a client of ours in Jacksonville, FL.
- Provide assistance as needed to physicians
- Obtain vital signs as needed
- Greet and escort patients during their visit
- Maintain medical documentation
- Injections and immunizations testing
- EKGs
- Schedule care, treatment and diagnostic tests per physician request
- Process prescription requests/prior auths and queue up refills for doctors to review
- Process referral requests

Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma/GED
- BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association
- Reliable transportation
- 2-3+ years Medical Assistant experience
- Vital signs
- Experience in a physicians office/Clinic setting
- Proven dependability/attendance and positive attitude
- Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included below:
o Hep B, Covid, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Epic experience
- CMA/RMA
- Associates degree or higher
