Baptist Health is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED North. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety in alignment with our mission to make hope, healing, and well‑being accessible to every person as an expression of God's love. Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high‑quality imaging services, ensuring both the comfort and safety of patients, and thriving in a collaborative environment.

Additional responsibilities include operating and calibrating GE equipment, preparing patients for procedures such as administering IV contrast and positioning, providing clear explanations and education about the process, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Performing high‑quality CT procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operating CT equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.
• Collaborating with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhering to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educating patients on the CT process and answering any patient questions.

If hired, you must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.

Vocational School

Associate's Degree

• Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
