Overview
The Speech Language Pathologist examines and evaluates patients, developing effective treatment plans appropriate for the patient condition. The Speech Language Pathologist measures patient progress, modifies treatment plans and educates the patient to produce optimal outcomes.

Required
Education:
Master's Degree.
Required Licensure/
Certifications:
Current Florida license as Speech‑Language Pathologist, BLS from the American Heart Association. Effective March 1, 2018 Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA is required at hire or transfer into role.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in Video Swallow Studies, Speaking Valve, Voice Prosthesis and FEES preferred.
Preferred Education:
Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Required Experience:
Less than one year clinical experience in area of job opening (e.g. Acute care, Outpatient, SNF). Experience obtained during fellowship applies.
