Overview

The Vice President of UF Health North provides strategic and operational leadership for the hospital, ensuring excellence in patient care, financial performance, quality outcomes, and community engagement. The role involves close collaboration with service line and matrix leadership teams to enhance operational efficiency and drive sustainable growth. The VP will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of operational management, and the ability to align cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational policies, overseeing performance metrics, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The VP of Operations will play a critical role in optimizing resource allocation, ensuring service line effectiveness, and enhancing overall customer experience. As the senior executive for the North campus, this role is accountable for aligning operations with UF Health Jacksonville's mission, values, and enterprise-wide goals while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Education:

Master’s degree. Specific coursework:
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or related clinical field (required)

Budgetary Responsibility: Responsible for annual budget of $132 million (net revenue)
