Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, Outpatient Rehab, Wolfson Children's Southbank Clinic

Wolfson Children's Hospital is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to our Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation Team in downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity with Wolfson Children’s Hospital at the Southbank Outpatient Rehab Clinic in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. No weekend, holiday, or call rotation.

We are looking to hire an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This full-time position will work with a pediatric caseload at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in medically complex infant feeding.

• Evaluate, plan, direct, and administer treatment to patients of all diagnoses.
• Provide extensive patient/family education.
• Provide multidisciplinary team care with other rehab professionals, nurses, physicians, social service providers, respiratory therapists, support staff, etc.
• Participate in departmental operations and performance improvement activities.
• Responsible for remaining within budget guidelines.
• Participate in mandatory education and licensure requirements.

* Active BLS from the American Heart Association and licensure from the FL Department of Health required*

Master's Degree

Doctorate

• Experience working in an Outpatient setting preferred
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Studies

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Speech Language Pathologist Required
