Vaco is hiring for a Chief Financial Officer in Jacksonville, Florida. This opportunity provides the ability to provide strategy guidance and improve accounting processes. This position is fully onsite. Florida CPA license is required.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the firm’s financial strategy aligned with business objectivesOversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingLead and mentor the accounting and finance teamEnsure GAAP compliance, internal controls, audits, and tax oversightProvide strategic financial insights to executive leadershipManage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial riskPartner with HR on benefits strategy, 401k administration and workforce budgetingCollaborate with Facilities on budgeting, lease management, capital expenditures, and office expansion planningWork closely with IT/Operations to evaluate systems, improve financial and operational efficiency, and support technology investmentsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)Florida CPA required10+ years of progressive financial leadership experienceProven experience overseeing accounting teams and complex financial operationsStrong strategic, analytical, and leadership skillsDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
