SHR Talent is partnering with one of the largest global Accounting Firms with an office in Jacksonville, FL in its search for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Tax Manager. The ideal candidate for the Corporate Tax Manager role will have a deep understanding of corporate tax law, compliance, and strategy, will be instrumental in managing complex tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, and possess strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and review corporate tax compliance engagements for a wide range of clients, including multinational corporations
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client objectives and current tax laws
  • Coordinate and lead tax planning and consulting projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities
  • Provide technical tax guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws
  • Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to identify and address potential tax implications during engagements
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax professionals and interns
  • Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on corporate tax matters
  • Monitor tax legislative and regulatory developments and analyze potential impacts on clients
  • Utilize tax software and technology tools for efficient workflow and reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Master’s degree in Taxation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, preferably in a public accounting or large corporate environment
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal and state corporate tax regulations
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software such as GoSystem, CCH, or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite
