Responsibilities- Manage and review corporate tax compliance engagements for a wide range of clients, including multinational corporations
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client objectives and current tax laws
- Coordinate and lead tax planning and consulting projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities
- Provide technical tax guidance to clients and internal teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. federal, state, and international tax laws
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to identify and address potential tax implications during engagements
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior tax professionals and interns
- Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on corporate tax matters
- Monitor tax legislative and regulatory developments and analyze potential impacts on clients
- Utilize tax software and technology tools for efficient workflow and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Master’s degree in Taxation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in corporate tax, preferably in a public accounting or large corporate environment
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. federal and state corporate tax regulations
- Proficiency in tax preparation software such as GoSystem, CCH, or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite
