Role: Support managing the Credit Union's financial management program and associated activities. Provide functional support for ALM modeling, liquidity, concentration risk, cost analysis and other varying financial analysis tasks.
- Perform analytical and reporting functions for management and Board of Directors.
- Perform analytical procedures, documentation and financial modeling to support management of FFCU’s financial risks: interest rate risk, liquidity risk, concentration risk.
- Support select accounting-related functions assigned.
- Utilize resources available to expand knowledge of financial analysis techniques and procedures as well as develop needed skills to support Finance Department initiatives.
- Perform monitoring of competitive rate surveys for use in recommending rates to Internal ALCO.
- Perform assigned responsibilities to support Allowance for Credit Loss (ACL) calculations, interest rate risk modeling, profitability analysis and budgets/financial forecasts.
Experience and skills required: Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
