The Corporate Controller will oversee all financial and accounting activities of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with GAAP.
Responsibilities- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal control safeguards for revenue, costs, and budgets.
- Coordinate, prepare, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, and the finance committee of the board of directors.
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning; review financial plans vs. actual results to identify and correct variances.
- Manage organizational cash flow forecasting in partnership with executive leadership.
- Track the performance of invested assets following policies and investment guidelines.
- Lead M&A financial and accounting due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration processes.
- Evaluate and oversee benefits negotiations to provide competitive packages.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Active CPA license required.
- Experience with high‑growth, acquisitive, multi‑site business models, preferably in healthcare.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Integrity, credibility, and dedication to the organization’s mission.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred.
