This is an opportunity to step into a visible Controller role with broad ownership over accounting operations, reporting, and controls, while partnering closely with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring prior experience as a Controller within healthcare, along with exposure to private equity–backed organizations. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can manage the day‑to‑day accounting function, oversee close and reporting, strengthen internal controls, and support audit, lender, and investor requirements. Experience navigating growth, integration, and evolving reporting expectations in a PE environment will be critical to success.

Our organization, a leading player in the Healthcare industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Controller to join our team on a permanent basis. The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities of the company. This includes the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Responsibilities- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
- Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and the finance committee of the board of directors; assess any changes necessary.
- Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
- Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the executive leadership team; continuously collaborate with executive leadership to assess the financial efficacy of program operations and establish finance and administrative systems to support program operations.
- Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
- Lead M&A financial and accounting due diligence, purchase accounting, and integration processes.
- Evaluate and oversee all benefits negotiations, thus providing the most competitive packages for the organization’s employees.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Active CPA license is required.
- Experience with high-growth, acquisitive, multi-site business models, preferably in healthcare.
