Job Description & How to Apply Below

Dartmouth Partners is partnering with a leading alternative investment platform to appoint a Vice President within their Special Servicing & Asset Management function. This platform manages sophisticated, bespoke illiquid credit investments across complex capital structures and is expanding its footprint in Jacksonville. This is a rare opportunity to join a high‑performing team working on complex, high‑impact special situations involving CRE, distressed credit, and in‑court/out‑of‑court restructurings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of bespoke illiquid credit investments, including ongoing monitoring of financial and operational performance and analysis of market dynamics.
  • Lead negotiations and execution of amendments, waivers, consents, and other legal documentation across both out‑of‑court and in‑court restructuring processes (foreclosure, bankruptcy, litigation strategy, etc.).
  • Develop and implement restructuring strategies for commercial loans secured by CRE, including sales, refinancings, and loan workouts.
  • Operate as a “Player‑Coach”, taking hands‑on responsibility for complex assets while mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Review and interpret financial statements, 13‑week cash flows, and covenant packages to evaluate business plans and restructuring scenarios.
Candidate Profile
  • 6–8+ years of experience in credit, restructuring, special situations, or related fields.
  • 5–7+ years specifically in Special Servicing / Asset Management with exposure to CRE asset classes.
  • Strong experience directing legal processes including foreclosure, bankruptcy, UCC actions, and loan restructuring.
  • Experience working with complex, illiquid, bespoke credit structures.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and excellent written communication.
